Fundamentals of NLP

I taught this workshop in the Advanced NLP track of School of AI Algiers' AI Camp. It traced NLP from ELIZA in 1966 to ChatGPT in 2022, then covered text preprocessing, from tokenization to stemming and lemmatization, and word embeddings with Word2Vec, GloVe and FastText. The slides and two notebooks, on tokenization and on embeddings, are in the workshop's repository.
